Admission in the College cannot be claimed as a matter of right and may be refused by the Principal without assigning reasons to the candidates.

Conduct of the candidates shall be an important factor in deciding the prayer for admission to the College.

Eligibility

The eligibility for admission into +3 Arts/ Commerce/ Science stream is as follows :

1. Arts :

Should have passed +2 Science / Arts / Commerce or its equivalent.

2. Science :

Should have passed +2 Science or its equivalent.

3. Commerce :

Should have passed +2 Science / Arts / Commerce or its equivalent.

The eligibility for admission into +2 H.S., 1st year Arts /Commerce / Science is as follows. :-

1. Arts :

Should have passed H.S.C. (B.S.E., Odisha) or CBSE (Delhi) or ICSE (New Delhi) or its equivalent Examination run by any other Board / University

2. Science :

Affiliated by B.S.E. (O) Should have passed H.S.C. (B.S.E., Odisha) or CBSE (Delhi) or ICSE (New Delhi) or its equivalent Examination run by any other Board / University

3. Commerce :

Affiliated by B.S.E. (O) Should have passed H.S.C. (B.S.E., Odisha) or CBSE (Delhi) or ICSE (New Delhi) or its equivalent Examination run by any other Board / University

Normal time of admission means the period of 04 to 06 weeks after reopening of the College or publication of result whichever is later, or the purpose of new admission to 1st year of Higher Secondary, 1st Year of 3 year Degree Course and V Year P.G. Classes it is eight weeks and six weeks respectively as per regulation of the CHSE / BU/KCU concerns after the reopening of the College.

N.B.:

a) Subject to change of date from time to time as per CHSE/BU/ Govt. Notification.

b) The academic session of the College is from 1st June to 31st May.

The last date for receipt of application for admission to the 1 year of the Higher Secondary Course and the 1st year of the Three year Degree course is the date on which the College reopens after the summer vacation or up to the 15th day from the date of publication of the results of the qualifying public examination whichever is later.

Applications of students from other Colleges of the state for admission into the 2nd year of the Higher Secondary Course and the 2nd or 3rd years of the Three Years Degree Courses shall be received up to the reopening of the College after summer vacation.

Student of the College promoted to the 2nd year of the Higher Secondary Course and the 2nd / 3rd year of the Three Year Degree Course & 6th Year P.G. need not apply again for admission.

All applications for admission must be submitted in the prescribed form obtainable from the College office. In no circumstances applications in plain paper will be accepted.

RESERVATION OF SEATS

Out of the total number of sanctioned strength in each class of +2/ +3/P.G. Wing, for Schedule Caste, for Schedule Tribe, 2% for Burma Repatriates, 5% for Odia students living in neighboring state, 1% for Ex-Servicemen, 3% for Physically/ Orthopedically Handicapped, 1% for Children of serving defence personal, 2% for Children / Grand Children of Sahid Soldiers / Swadhinata Sangramee. (The student are required to mention their reserved category for seat in their admission application form.

1. NCC 'A" Certificate 5%
     NCC B" Certificate 10%
2. All India level NCC Activities 5%
3. Sports - National Level 10%
     State Level 5%
4. NSS - National Level 7%
     State Level 5%
     University Level 3%
5. B.Com. Student 5%

(Those who pass +2 H S. Commerce)

6. President's Scout/Guide 10%
7. Rajya Puraskara 5%
