The Postgraduate Commerce
Department, a vital part of Government Science College Chatrapur Ganjam and
affiliated with Berhampur University, is dedicated to providing advanced
education and fostering research in various disciplines of commerce. Established
in the year 1970-71, the department has a rich history of producing competent
professionals and academics who have made significant contributions to the
field. It is a key academic division that focuses on the study of trade,
business, finance, accounting, economics, and management. This program aims to
develop students into capable professionals who can effectively contribute to
the business world, government sectors, and entrepreneurship ventures.
