DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE:
The Department of Political Science is offering Bachelor's degree course under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). The degree programme consists of Discipline Specific Core and Elective courses, Skill enhancement courses and Generic elective courses. In the Sixth semester the students write a dissertation on a topic of their choice and present it in front of external and answer questions from that topic. The department also provides Master's degree course. The syllabus for Master's degree is prepared by the Berhampur University. In the final year the students write a dissertation on a topic of their choice . The department involves students in seminars group discussions, debate clubs and study tours, etc., to increase the analytical skills among the students.
